Available to all residents this garden is maintained by a volunteer community group and was designed and implemented with their input as part of the functional programming process.

Immediate connection and access to nature was a reoccurring theme in the design of this project.

A new covered drop off area was added to this home allowing more appropriate resident access to this environment.

A new service kitchen with a residential feel was added to the second floor to allow enhanced resident and staff use.

New configuration and design of the main kitchen allows for all food service requirements to be met while creating a residential feeling that comforts residents and staff alike.

Outdoor shaded areas with accessable pathways for use by residents and their families allow for extended exposure to the surrounding landscape and gardens.

Residents and their families find this comforting space for gatherings and family dinners.

Flooded with natural light and visual access to the natural environment that surrounds them, the resident rooms have the ability to control their personal environment and the amenities they surround themselves with.
